Lead process equipment support at BWXT Medical in Kanata, applying engineering leadership and Good Manufacturing Practices on-site. As Process Equipment Support Manager, you will manage fabrication, mechanical maintenance, instrument calibration, and glass blowing teams. The position supports commercial manufacturing and research projects through forecasting, planning, scheduling, and execution. You will help ensure quality products meet internal, regulatory, contractual, and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities:
Direct safe, efficient, and economical cost center operations Coordinate scheduled activities with departmental managers and supervisors Provide technical assessments and advice for customer inquiries Implement quality, cost control, and continuous improvement programs Maintain facilities and equipment for safe operating conditions Requirements:
University engineering degree with five to seven years’ related experience Supervisory experience with fabrication or maintenance personnel Strong knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices Knowledge of fabrication, calibration, chemistry, and radiation safety Proven leadership, independent judgment, and problem-solving ability Bring engineering leadership, equipment support expertise, and regulatory knowledge to BWXT Medical’s Kanata production facility.
