Sr. Business Analyst (Healthcare)

Mandatory Requirements
- University degree in Healthcare, Business Administration, or Information Technology with direct experience in laboratory workflows, or an equivalent combination of laboratory education, certifications, and experience.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Clinical Business Analyst or Clinical Informatics Analyst focused on laboratory workflows, including requirements gathering, workshop facilitation, use case analysis, business process analysis, detailed design, and business analysis documentation.
- Demonstrated experience working within acute care Health Information Systems (EHR/CIS/LIS) and healthcare operations related to laboratory workflows.
- Experience as a Business Analyst or Clinical Informatics Analyst on health information systems or CIS implementation projects involving laboratory‑related initiatives.
- Availability to start work on or about the date specified in the Statement of Work (SOW).
- Vendor submissions limited to a maximum of two candidates.
Desirable Skills and Attributes
- Experience as a Clinical Business Analyst specializing in laboratory workflows within acute care EHR/CIS/LIS environments, including CPOE, lab order sets, specimen collection and processing, clinical documentation, and ancillary services.
- Strong verbal and written communication, facilitation, and presentation skills in both French and English.
- Proven facilitation experience leading workshops with laboratory technologists, healthcare providers, and clinical staff to define business and system requirements.
- Ability to work independently with strong interpersonal skills and collaborate effectively with project teams, subject matter experts, and stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated ability to multitask and support multiple teams and project streams simultaneously.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 tools, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, Outlook, and Teams.
- Experience using Atlassian JIRA in a project or work environment.
- Previous experience working with public health authorities or large laboratory programs with a strong understanding of laboratory workflows, diagnostic policies, and practices.
