Provide community respiratory care with ProResp in Barrie, using clinical expertise, patient education, and respiratory assessments. Work Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This permanent full-time Respiratory Therapist position delivers oxygen, complex care, and CPAP therapies. You will develop patient-centred care plans, support equipment use, and assess patients virtually, by phone, and in person. The work includes relationships with families and healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide oxygen, complex care, and CPAP therapies
- Conduct thorough respiratory assessments for community patients
- Educate patients on oxygen and equipment handling
- Develop and support patient-centred care plans
- Determine visit requirements and funding eligibility
Requirements:
- Registration with CRTO or accreditation by CSRT
- GRT applicants accepted for consideration
- Valid full Class G driver's licence
- Safe driving history and satisfactory vulnerable sector screening
- Clean-shaven where respirator sealing is required
