Manager, Financial Reporting
Title: Manager, Financial Reporting Location: Vancouver, BC (Hybrid)
Salary: $110,000 - $115,000 Job Type: Full‐Time
About the Opportunity
This role is built for a CPA who wants full ownership of public‐company financial reporting without the grind of traditional busy seasons. You'll lead financial statements, MD&A drafting, consolidations, and technical accounting for a portfolio of high‐growth, multi‐entity clients. It's a high‐autonomy role with capital‐markets exposure, meaningful impact, and a clear runway toward future CFO‐track opportunities.
What You'll Be Doing
- Own quarterly and annual reporting - financial statements, MD&A, and disclosure.
- Run multi‐entity consolidations - clean models, foreign‐currency translation, complex structures.
- Deliver sharp analysis - balance‐sheet, P& L, trends, and red‐flag variances.
- Guide planning cycles - budgets, rolling forecasts, and leadership‐ready insights.
- Lead audits smoothly - audit plans, airtight support, and external auditor coordination.
Qualifications
- CPA designation (required)
- Strong public‐company audit and/or financial reporting experience
- Proven analytical and problem‐solving ability
- Comfort with multi‐entity groups and technical accounting
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- US GAAP experience, COSO Internal Control Certificate and Corporate income tax exposure considered a bonus
