This Health and Safety Specialist maintains policies, monitors high-risk work, and supports safe construction operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and enforce Health and Safety policies
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and hazard assessments
- Monitor high-risk work and proper PPE use
- Deliver WHMIS and Working at Heights orientations
- Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions
Requirements:
- NCSO certification prioritized over other candidates
- Diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety
- Three-plus years of construction safety experience
- Knowledge of Ontario OHSA and COR programs
- CRSP or NCSO, or progress toward certification, is an asset
