Buckland is seeking a Manager for Freight Forwarding & Logistics to oversee critical international ocean operations and enhance service delivery. You will serve as the primary point of contact for major accounts, coordinating with logistics partners and ensuring operational commitments are met. This managerial position combines strategic account growth with performance reporting and process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage international ocean import and export operations daily
- Build strong relationships as the main operational contact
- Develop customer-specific SOPs, KPIs, and workflows
- Conduct business reviews and performance reporting
- Investigate and resolve service issues and supply chain risks
Requirements:
- 7+ years of freight forwarding or international logistics experience
- Strong knowledge of ocean freight operations and carrier management
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and TMS
- CIFFA or CITT designation preferred
- Legally eligible to work and travel as required
