Bruin Instruments seeks an experienced Senior Mechanical Product Development Engineer for full-time, permanent employment. You will support product design, development, and technical solutions for global oil and gas customers. The work combines engineering leadership, people management, and collaboration with manufacturing, sales, projects, quality, and field service. Key Responsibilities:
Manage product design models, drawings, bills of materials, and work orders Design new products and upgrade existing product lines Prepare calculations and compliance documentation for customer orders Support machining, welding, assembly, testing, and manufacturing departments Troubleshoot quality issues and develop production procedures Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar engineering field Eight to ten years of product design and development experience Three to five-plus years supervising or managing teams APEGA membership or eligibility for active P.Eng. membership CAD experience with Inventor, Creo, SolidWorks, or AutoCAD Apply mechanical engineering, CAD, stress analysis, and leadership skills developing Bruin Pumps products in Edmonton's manufacturing facility.
