Lead Canadian tax reporting and accounting for Brookfield Renewable, working onsite at least four days weekly with global stakeholders and advisors. Reporting to the Director, Tax, the Senior Manager, Tax supports BEP Corporate tax reporting, compliance, risk management, and advisory matters. The work spans Canadian and global initiatives with Tax, Finance, Legal, portfolio company teams, and external advisors. Strong tax accounting expertise is essential for this role. Key Responsibilities:
Manage quarterly BEP tax provision consolidation, review, analysis, and reporting Coordinate corporate compliance, country-by-country reporting, and CDS reporting Support Canadian tax risks, T1134, EIFEL, and Pillar Two readiness Assist with indirect tax matters for corporate entities Improve tax processes, controls, reporting, and automation opportunities Requirements:
CPA/CA designation with In-depth tax program or Masters of Taxation Five to seven years of progressive Canadian tax experience Strong tax accounting experience is required Experience with compliance, transfer pricing, and international reporting Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and project management skills Apply Canadian tax accounting, compliance, and reporting expertise while supporting Brookfield Renewable’s corporate tax priorities globally.
