At Brookes Westshore, we are seeking a dedicated Cook responsible for preparing healthy meals for students and staff. This role requires kitchen experience and a commitment to food safety and quality. Ideal candidates must be punctual and reliable, able to perform physical tasks, and show a positive attitude. You will serve the school community throughout the year, except during winter and spring breaks.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare nutritional meals and snacks for students and staff
- Follow food safety guidelines in meal preparation
- Assist in daily kitchen operations and cleaning
- Manage food inventory and storage effectively
- Maintain a positive kitchen atmosphere with teamwork
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of kitchen experience required
- Valid Food Safe Certificate needed
- Successful completion of a criminal record check
- Ability to perform manual tasks as required
- Trustworthy with strong teamwork abilities
