Join Bronswerk as a Mechanical Designer in the Naval HVAC-R sector. This role focuses on creating detailed 3D models, drawings, and designs that meet industry standards and project specifications.
Reporting directly to the Lead Mechanical Designer, you'll be involved in both the design and detail design of HVAC equipment for marine applications. Key tasks include producing various drawings and participating in material selection to ensure that designs are functional and cost-effective. Your creativity will be essential in conceiving equipment structures and systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create 3D models and detailed drawings for HVAC products
- Produce assembly and customer installation drawings
- Design equipment for frames, enclosures, and piping
- Collaborate with project teams for design outputs
- Ensure accuracy in BOM within CAD and ERP systems
Requirements:
- College or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering
- Proficient in Inventor or other 3D CAD software
- Experience with Autodesk Vault or similar PLM tools
- Knowledge of functional tolerancing
- HVAC systems and sheet metal design experience
