Support Business Strategy students at Brock University through effective communication, scheduled contact time, and on-campus course support as needed.
This Teaching Assistant appointment supports two Business Strategy sections. The work includes student interaction, seminar preparation, consultations, marking, examination proctoring, lectures, office hours, and course administration. Applicants must be enrolled in Business or hold an equivalent Business degree.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend scheduled contact time with Business Strategy students
- Prepare seminar materials and support course administration
- Consult with students during designated office hours
- Mark or grade student work and examinations
- Proctor examinations and attend course lectures
Requirements:
- Previous Teaching Assistant experience conducting tutorials, labs, or review sessions
- Completed MGMT 4P90 or equivalent with at least 80%
- Current third- or fourth-year Business student, or equivalent graduate
- Effective communication skills for explaining subject material
- Punctual attendance and ability to meet appropriate deadlines
