Reporting to the Manager, this Personal Care Assistant works under RN and RPN guidance within agreed care plans. The position supports routine patient care activities, cross-functional duties, and patient physical, social, and emotional well-being. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with routine activities within agreed patient care plans
- Perform cross-functional duties consistent with clinical classification
- Promote patients' physical, social, and emotional well-being
- Support patient safety within assigned responsibilities
- Comply with health and safety policies and regulations
Requirements:
- Recognized Personal Support Worker program certificate or relevant experience
- Current CPR and recent healthcare facility experience
- Successful completion of corporate Code White training
- Excellent communication, organization, and patient assessment skills
- Ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary healthcare teams
