Reporting to the Director, Facilities Management, the Engineering Technologist provides technical development and support across all Brightshores sites. The full-time position focuses on building operations, maintenance, improvement, energy management, and performance. It also applies standards, codes, regulations, and technical information to policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support operation and maintenance of complex building systems
- Improve hospital equipment and building system performance
- Use computer-based control and asset management systems
- Research standards, codes, regulations, and technical literature
- Develop policies and procedures for engineering services
Requirements:
- Three- or four-year engineering, building, or computer science credential
- Five years' recent complex building systems experience
- Systems development, process engineering, and quality control experience
- Advanced database, spreadsheet, and word processing skills
- Valid driver's licence and vehicle for site support
