You will assist teachers with Individualized Education Plans, lessons, student development observations, behaviour management, and daily classroom routines. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist students transitioning from home to school
- Support lessons, projects, crafts, charts, and teaching materials
- Observe and report academic, motor, social, and behavioural development
- Assist with feeding, toileting, lifting, and clothing changes
- Support supervision, field trips, classroom routines, and school duties
Requirements:
- Completed educational assistant program or equivalent
- Minimum one year experience working with children
- Positive, empathetic attitude toward students
- Ability to maintain confidential information discreetly
- Basic computer software knowledge and physical-task ability
