Brandt seeks a Heavy Equipment Technician for its Winnipeg Construction and Forestry location. This full-time shop position maintains construction and forestry equipment and attachments. You will evaluate working condition, diagnose issues, order parts, and complete repairs while supporting service excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, assemble, disassemble, and repair heavy duty equipment
- Use instruments, hand tools, power tools, and computer systems
- Document machine information, actions, and time on work orders
- Use John Deere Service Advisor for maintenance, inspection, and diagnosis
- Road test equipment and check attachment operation as required
Requirements:
- Previous mechanical experience in a heavy equipment environment preferred
- Certified Journeyperson or equivalent designated trade preferred

- Ability to communicate and work effectively with service personnel
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
