Brandt seeks a Shop Foreman for its John Deere Agriculture dealership in Pincher Creek, Alberta. The position supervises service work, supports technicians and apprentices, and helps maintain quality and productivity under Service Optimization standards. It requires agricultural equipment experience, leadership, and customer communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assign jobs and work orders according to employee skills
- Direct diagnosis of machine problems for technicians and apprentices
- Review repair orders for accuracy and completeness
- Coordinate technician training and quarterly safety meetings
- Support customer questions, estimates, payments, and work-order closure
Requirements:
- Three or more years as a Service Technician
- Journeyman certification preferred
- Hydraulic and electrical agricultural equipment diagnosis preferred
- John Deere Agriculture and competitive product familiarity
- Leadership, delegation, communication, and decision-making abilities
