Brandt seeks a Heavy Equipment Technician for its Construction and Forestry location. This shop-based position maintains construction and forestry equipment and attachments. Preferred qualifications include heavy equipment mechanical experience and Heavy Duty Equipment technician certification or an equivalent designated trade.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, assemble, disassemble, and repair heavy duty equipment
- Use tools, instruments, secondary equipment, and computer systems safely
- Document machine information, actions, and time on work orders
- Use John Deere Service Advisor for maintenance and diagnosis
- Locate and order parts through catalogues and parts personnel
Requirements:
- Previous mechanical experience in a heavy equipment environment preferred
- Certified Journeyperson or equivalent designated trade preferred
- Commitment to customer service and service excellence
- Effective communication with customers and service teams
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
