Diagnose and repair Truck and Coach equipment in a field environment for Brandt's Peterbilt Dealership in Sudbury, Ontario.
This full-time Field Truck and Coach Technician position supports equipment repairs and maintenance. The role involves electrical diagnosis, aftertreatment systems, computer applications, and service documentation. You will work with on-road equipment and attachments while following accepted safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, assemble, disassemble, and repair on-road equipment
- Order parts using catalogues and coordinate with parts personnel
- Document machine information, actions, and time on work orders
- Use tools, equipment, and computer systems safely
- Road test equipment and check attachment operation
Requirements:
- Registration in the 310T trade
- Certified Journeyperson status considered an asset
- CAT, CUMMINS, or PACCAR engine experience considered an asset
- Electrical diagnosis and aftertreatment experience considered an asset
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
