You will coordinate with engineers, contractors, and trades while monitoring execution against drawings, specifications, schedules, and contract requirements. The work requires site experience, technical judgment, and clear communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor construction execution and compliance with drawings and specifications
- Conduct site visits and prepare reports and contractor instructions
- Track schedules, attend site meetings, and verify work progress
- Coordinate as-built drawing markups with contractors
- Analyze and negotiate contractor change order pricing
Requirements:
- Technical diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering
- Minimum seven years' experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of applicable Ontario codes and standards
- French and English communication skills, verbal and written
- Valid driver's license, vehicle access, and Microsoft Office proficiency
