Overview
Bow Valley Climate Management is seeking a highly skilled Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic to join our growing team. This position offers hands‑on exposure to a highly diverse project portfolio where your expertise and input actually matter.

Core Responsibilities
- Show up on time.
- Keep the company vehicle clean and organized.

- Utilize our CRM software Jobber to generate detailed digital service reports.
- Clock in and out of jobs accurately.
- Install, maintain, and service advanced HVAC/R systems.
- Perform brazing, evacuation and charging of refrigeration systems.
- Repair coolers and freezers in various environments.
- Perform rapid-response diagnostics and emergency repairs.
- Execute preventative maintenance protocols.
- Install specialized ventilation systems.
- Participate in a scheduled after-hours emergency call-out rotation.
- Perform commissioning and troubleshooting at remote work sites.
- Build material lists for repairs and recommendations.
- Any other company related duties assigned by Director.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Red Seal Journeyman Certification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
- Gasfitter (Class A or Class B) certification is a strong asset.
- Active CFC/ODP certification.
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License with a clean driving abstract.
- Clean Criminal Record Check.
- Current safety certifications or the ability to obtain them as required.
- Drug and Alcohol Testing as per specific site requirements.
The Ideal Candidate:

- Deep understanding of modern thermodynamics and electrical troubleshooting.
- Comfortable transitioning between different job environments.
- Willing to travel to oil and gas sites throughout Alberta and potentially other parts of Canada/USA.
- Capable of independent problem-solving on the job site.
- Excellent communication skills.
