The Specialist, Business Development & Marketing works across practice groups, sectors, and Firm-wide programs to support strategic priorities. This role collaborates with the Director, Regional Business Development and coordinates materials, events, awards, and profile-building activities. Strong organization, writing, relationship management, and deadline skills are essential. Key Responsibilities:
Prepare legal directory, guide, and award submissions Coordinate sponsorships, hospitality assets, events, and promotional initiatives Support Vancouver Whitecaps FC partnership execution and reporting Track award nominations and research strategic opportunities Coordinate lawyer biographies, headshots, and website updates Requirements:
Five years or more business development or marketing experience In-depth understanding of legal and business environments Experience implementing programs from concept through completion Strong oral and enhanced written communication skills Ability to manage concurrent projects and meet deadlines Bring legal marketing, event coordination, sponsorship, and communication expertise to expand BLG’s visibility and client development efforts.
