This position requires collaboration with lawyers to ensure all billing aligns with firm guidelines while meeting month-end and year-end deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and edit pre-bills in the CMS system
- Finalize and submit final bills for lawyer approval
- Transfer time and disbursements according to instructions
- Train new Practice Assistants on billing procedures
- Monitor billing system for accurate client information
Requirements:
- Grade 12 with post-secondary education or equivalent experience
- Experience in a law firm's finance or billing role
- Understanding of accounting theory and E-billing processes
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat
- Bilingualism in French and English is an asset
