This engineering position supports Bombardier Aerospace's Simulation team across aircraft platforms, including specialized mission aircraft. You will develop flight dynamics and aerodynamic models supporting design, testing, certification, and in-service investigations. The work combines aircraft flight mechanics, programming, data analysis, and validation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain flight dynamics models in MATLAB/Simulink
- Build aerodynamic models from CFD, wind tunnel, and flight data
- Analyze and reconcile multiple data sources
- Validate models against engineering requirements and aircraft behavior
- Document methodologies, assumptions, analyses, and results
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering
- Five years of experience in a related industry
- Understanding of flight mechanics, stability, and control
- Experience developing and debugging code
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
