Bring flutter, aeroservoelasticity, and gust-loads expertise to Bombardier’s contract aerospace engineering work in BAN, Aerospace Canada. The assignment centers on migrating Loads and Dynamics analysis from legacy MSC software to Siemens Simcenter NASTRAN. You will reproduce certified historical results, validate replacement workflows, and help document methodologies for future programs. The technical scope includes flutter, ASE, TDG and PSD gust loads, dynamic landing, structural dynamics, and NASTRAN analysis. Key Responsibilities:
Support migration of flutter and aeroservoelasticity methodologies Analyze TDG and PSD gust loads Reproduce certified MSC analysis results using Siemens software Correlate differences between MSC and Siemens results Develop replacement recommendations and knowledge-transfer documentation Requirements:
Five-plus years in aerospace loads, dynamics, aeroelasticity, or certification Degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering Knowledge of flutter, ASE, gust loads, and landing analyses Experience with MSC NASTRAN and Siemens Simcenter NASTRAN Analytical, technical writing, and communication skills Use flutter, gust-loads, and aeroelasticity knowledge to validate Siemens-based analysis methods for Bombardier engineering programs.
