As a Garbage and Recycling Driver, reporting to the Fleet Manager, you will play a vital role in the collection of solid waste and recyclables. This position requires operating a vehicle with an automated arm, delivering materials to various facilities, and maintaining accurate weight records. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate vehicle on scheduled routes for collection
- Collect solid waste and recyclables efficiently
- Deliver items to recovery facility or landfill
- Record weights upon each collection using scales
- Interact positively with the public during service
Requirements:
- Clean CVOR and Drivers Abstract
- Minimum 2 years DZ class vehicle experience
- Familiarity with joystick operation is an asset
- Experience with side loaders is beneficial
- Ability to communicate effectively with public
