About Bloom

Bloom Abilities Centre supports children and families through ABA services, respite care and academic tutoring. Our team brings together professional expertise and first‐hand lived experience, with a focus on practical skills, respectful relationships and support that makes sense in each family's daily life.

The role

We are seeking an experienced, dependable Supervised Instructor Therapist to deliver one-to‐one ABA sessions in clients' homes. You will work under the direction and clinical supervision of a Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA) registered with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario.

The role requires consistent availability after school and in the early evenings. Specific session days and client locations will be discussed during recruitment. Please identify the days you are available and the areas you can reliably travel to.

Key responsibilities

  • Deliver individual ABA sessions according to the supervising RBA's programs and instructions.
  • Prepare for sessions and use the materials and procedures specified in each child's program.
  • Collect accurate session data and complete clear, timely progress notes.
  • Share observations, questions and concerns with the supervising RBA.
  • Participate in supervision and apply feedback to your practice.
  • Build respectful working relationships with children, caregivers and the clinical team.
  • Follow established confidentiality, safety and professional-conduct procedures.
  • Attend agreed sessions reliably and communicate scheduling concerns promptly.

What we are looking for

  • At least one year of direct ABA experience as an Instructor Therapist or Behaviour Therapist.
  • Experience implementing individualized programs and collecting session data.
  • Availability for after-school and early-evening sessions.
  • Ability to travel reliably to assigned client homes in Hamilton, Ontario.
  • Strong communication, organization and documentation skills.
  • A patient, respectful approach that recognizes each child's strengths, interests and individual needs.
  • A valid, satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check before beginning client work.
