Lead civil construction crews for Blackline Civil across Alberta, applying road building, grading, and aggregate compaction expertise. This is a full-time position.
The experienced Base Foreman will lead projects throughout the Edmonton area. The work covers base preparation, daily site coordination, construction drawings, grades, and project specifications. Success requires strong leadership, communication, organization, and heavy equipment coordination.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise base crews on civil construction projects
- Oversee aggregate placement, grading, and compaction
- Coordinate activities with managers, surveyors, subcontractors, and operators
- Conduct safety meetings and enforce company policies
- Complete reports, timesheets, and project documentation
Requirements:
- Five or more years of civil construction experience
- Supervisory or foreman experience
- Knowledge of road construction and base preparation
- Ability to read blueprints, grades, and site plans
- Valid Class 5 driver's license required
