  • Produce detailed test reports based on the results with high accuracy.
  • Execute comprehensive test suites on new software builds using reference and customer hardware, and analyze results.
  • Maintain test lab environments.
  • Create, update, and maintain test plans and test cases based on product requirements and feature specifications.
  • Configure, integrate, and validate software deliverables on embedded hardware platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with software developers and fellow test engineers.
  • Reproduce and investigate reported issues using systematic debugging and root-cause analysis techniques.

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Strong programming background with expert-level proficiency in Python, C, and shell scripting.
  • Extensive experience developing and maintaining automated test frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of Linux internals and extensive hands-on experience with system configs, scripting, and debugging in enterprise environments.
  • Knowledge of Power Management testing on different hardware.
  • Solid understanding of formal test theory, test methodology, and experience in developing automated tests and testing tools.
  • Demonstrated experience writing test plans and test cases, executing tests and reporting results.
  • Proven technical leadership and mentoring experience.
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of deliverables.
  • Familiar with source versioning, problem reporting and constant integration systems (SVN, Git, JIRA, Jenkins end-to-end CI/CD pipelines).
  • Working knowledge of QNX or other embedded operating system is an asset.
  • Experience in debugging, root-cause analysis, and system validation for embedded hardware and software environments.

Why Join QNX?
