We are seeking an experienced
Senior Systems Testing / QA Specialist
to support a data-focused project involving data validation, ETL testing, and Monitoring & Evaluation reporting. The successful candidate will have strong SQL scripting skills, hands-on experience with Informatica ETL testing, and a background in Data Warehouse or Data Migration projects.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Perform ETL testing and validate data transformations, extractions, and data integrity.
Write complex SQL queries to verify backend data and identify discrepancies.
Conduct functional, integration, regression, and system testing.
Prepare testing documentation, traceability reports, and QA test results.
Work closely with technical teams, business stakeholders, and project leads to identify and resolve issues.
Support testing strategy, planning, and quality assurance activities.
Must-Have Qualifications
5–7 years of experience writing complex SQL scripts.
3–5 years of hands-on ETL testing experience using Informatica or an equivalent ETL tool.
Experience working on Data Warehouse and/or Data Migration projects.
Strong knowledge of SQL Server and/or Oracle databases.
Experience with data validation, data mapping, joins, aggregations, and backend database testing.
Experience developing test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
Nice to Have
Experience with IBM DataStage and Unix/Linux shell scripting.
Knowledge of Siebel/CRM.
Exposure to Azure or AWS cloud environments.
Experience with Azure DevOps (ADO).
Previous public sector experience.
