Lead wind turbine foundation and earthworks operations with Bird, coordinating subcontractors, labourers, crews, equipment, and concrete deliveries at project sites. This Superintendent leads daily field operations for renewable energy construction. You will direct foundations and earthworks while coordinating safety, quality, schedules, engineering, survey, environmental, and client teams. The work includes large-scale excavation, grading, drainage, concrete foundations, and site logistics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead daily wind turbine foundation and earthworks operations
- Implement Bird Safety Program and monitor field safety performance
- Coordinate excavation, grading, drainage, roads, crane pads, and restoration
- Oversee reinforcing steel, anchor cages, concrete placement, curing, and backfilling
- Develop short-term plans and monitor productivity against project schedules
Requirements:
- Superintendent experience in renewable, heavy civil, industrial, or infrastructure construction
- Experience leading large-scale earthworks and concrete foundation scopes
- Knowledge of excavation, dewatering, reinforcing steel, concrete, and backfilling
- Ability to interpret drawings, specifications, surveys, schedules, and tolerances
- Willingness to travel and work at project sites as required
