Lead integrated project controls for Bird Construction across complex projects, using cost control, scheduling, forecasting, and risk management expertise. Site-based or remote work may be required. Reporting to the Project Controls Manager, this senior lead directs the controls function for large projects or portfolios. The work integrates cost, schedule, progress, scope, risk, change, and performance reporting. You will support project managers, construction teams, clients, Finance, Commercial, and other stakeholders with timely project information and informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead project controls across large, complex construction projects
- Manage cost control, planning, scheduling, and progress measurement
- Develop forecasts, performance baselines, and management reporting
- Identify emerging cost, schedule, risk, and trend issues
- Direct multidisciplinary project controls teams and stakeholders
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant project controls experience
- Ten-plus years of progressive project controls experience
- Experience supporting large and complex construction projects
- Strong knowledge of integrated project controls and EVM
- Advanced Microsoft Excel and reporting tools experience
- Bring senior project controls leadership, forecasting, scheduling, and cost expertise to Bird Construction projects across Canada.
