Protein purification and analytical characterization define this full-time onsite Research Associate II opportunity with Zymeworks in Vancouver, BC. As a Research Associate II, you will characterize protein-based molecules and multispecific antibody-based therapeutics. The work includes developability assays, affinity measurements, data analysis, and collaboration across departments. You will also support method development, documentation, and laboratory operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform protein purification and analytical characterization
- Execute developability assays for multispecific antibody therapeutics
- Troubleshoot methods and develop new technologies
- Write standard operating procedures and analyze data
- Maintain a clean, organized, operational laboratory
Requirements:
- BSc and two to three years related experience or Master’s degree with equivalent education and experience
- Hands-on affinity, IEX, SEC, and protein A/G/L purification
- Experience with PAGE, CE-SDS, ELISA, MSD, or UPLC-SEC
- Knowledge of developability and affinity measurement methods
- Bring protein purification, analytical characterization, and developability expertise to Zymeworks’ onsite Vancouver research laboratory.
