Lead pharmaceutical quality assurance at Bio Agri Mix LP in Mitchell, Ontario, using regulatory expertise and strong team management skills onsite. Oversee release, compliance, and investigations within a Health Canada licensed, FDA-approved, HACCP-certified manufacturer.
As QA Manager, you will hold full accountability for the Quality Assurance team and report to the Director of Quality. The position manages daily priorities involving raw material and finished product release, GMP/cGMP compliance, deviations, and investigations. You will develop quality systems, review stability data, and support audits while collaborating across departments on quality concerns, development, and commercialization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor QA professionals through goals, training, and evaluations
- Release raw materials and finished products after required checks
- Maintain QMS aligned with Health Canada, FDA, and ICH guidelines
- Approve stability data and complete annual product reviews
- Support audits and implement corrective actions for identified deficiencies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in pharmaceutical sciences, engineering, chemistry, or related field
- 10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience
- At least 5 years in management would be an asset
- In-depth Canadian and international pharmaceutical regulatory knowledge
- Proficiency with quality management systems and statistical analysis tools
