THE OPPORTUNITY
We are currently hiring a QC Inspector to join our team.
In this role, you will help ensure our equipment meets quality and safety standards. You will inspect materials, review fabrication work, and maintain quality records.
You will also work with our team to identify issues, improve processes, and ensure compliance with industry standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Inspect materials and equipment during fabrication.
- Ensure work meets ASME B31.3 and ASME Section VIII, Division 1 standards.
- Schedule non-destructive examinations (NDE).
- Coordinate post-weld heat treatment (PWHT).
- Monitor pressure testing to ensure safe work practices.
- Work with customer inspectors and regulatory authorities.
- Prepare and maintain accurate inspection reports.
- Review quality records and identify potential issues.
- Help resolve quality concerns during fabrication.
- Support quality audits and inspections.
- Assist with improvements to our Quality Control program.
- Follow company safety policies and quality procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Diploma in Welding Engineering Technology.
- Previous shop quality control experience is an asset.
- Knowledge of welding and fabrication processes is an asset.
- Familiarity with ASME codes and standards is an asset.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and with a team.
