THE OPPORTUNITY
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Warehouse/ Shipperbased out of Fort St John, BC in a rotational camp mechanic position to join our team.
This role is essential for ensuring the accurate and efficient movement of goods, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
The ideal candidate will have experience with warehouse operations and shipping and receiving processes.
- ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: (Including but are not limited to the following)
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect for damages.
- Prepare outgoing shipments by picking, packing, and labeling products accurately.
- Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks to load and unload goods safely.
- Manage inventory using warehouse management systems for stock tracking and order processing.
- Ensure proper stock rotation, storage, and organization within the warehouse.
- Assist with order fulfillment processes including picking & packing orders for shipment.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments and receipts using MRPs and other inventory software.
- Support warehouse distribution activities by coordinating with logistics providers for timely deliveries.
- Follow safety procedures during all operations to ensure a safe working environment.
QUAILIFICATIONS
- Previous experience in warehouse management, shipping & receiving, or related roles preferred.
- Proficiency with warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and order accuracy.
- Basic understanding of safety protocols related to warehouse operations.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Lift and carry heavy items weighing up to 50 pounds. Stand, kneel, bend, stoop, move, and walk long distances and in small areas with many moving pieces/parts.
