Coordinate Technology portfolio operations for BHP in Saskatoon through planning, stakeholder communication, and accurate information management. This is an 18-month fixed-term role with hybrid working.
As Portfolio Specialist, you will support leaders, employees, contractors, and stakeholders across BHP's growing Jansen business. The position combines administrative coordination, PMO governance, reporting, onboarding, and continuous improvement. Strong organization, customer focus, and attention to detail help teams operate effectively while supporting safe, productive, value-driven outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate leadership communications, briefings, presentations, and performance insights
- Organize department routines, town halls, workshops, and team events
- Track portfolio commitments and follow up with owners
- Support PMO governance processes and initiatives
- Coordinate onboarding, access requests, equipment, and orientation materials
Requirements:
- Administrative support experience in operational, project, mining, or corporate environments
- Strong organization, coordination, and prioritization skills
- Accurate information management and attention to detail
- Experience preparing reports, presentations, documentation, and records
- Confidence with Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and collaboration tools
