As an HVAC Apprentice with BGIS, you will assist with facility operations, preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, and routine services. The work includes air conditioning, heating, related equipment, and other mechanical systems. You will follow established processes while meeting environmental, health and safety, security, and fire protection requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with air conditioning and heating equipment installation
- Support HVAC unit overhauls and servicing
- Help repair and adjust HVAC components
- Respond to routine and on-demand service requests
- Record and escalate maintenance deficiencies
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Enrollment in a recognized HVAC apprenticeship program
- Basic understanding of HVAC systems and mechanical principles
- Valid driver's license
- Availability for on-call and emergency call-outs
