This Field Service Technician position supports laboratories, hospitals, pharmaceutical facilities, and research environments. You will test and certify critical equipment, perform diagnostics, and complete minor repairs. Structured field-based training develops technical skills, certifications, and direct client engagement in regulated environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test and certify biosafety cabinets, fume hoods, and clean benches
- Test cleanroom environments against industry and regulatory standards
- Perform diagnostics and minor repairs; escalate issues when required
- Explain findings and equipment guidance to clients
- Conduct hazard assessments and document incidents or near misses
Requirements:
- Mechanical aptitude and previous hand-tool experience
- Working knowledge of HVAC, electrical wiring, or motor repair beneficial
- Ability to calculate and interpret airflow, pressure, and filtration measurements
- Understanding of technical documentation and industry standards an asset
- Class 5 licence, clean three-year abstract, and insured driving history
