Support children's learning and development as an Early Childhood Educator Assistant at BGC Okanagan's Rutland Club in Kelowna, BC. Work full-time, Monday to Friday.
This Early Years Program position assists with developmentally appropriate activities for individual and group settings. You will guide children through indoor and outdoor activities while supporting physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development. The work includes daily care, safety, communication, and recordkeeping.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and carry out developmentally appropriate programs
- Monitor, guide, and assist children during activities
- Attend to diapering, toileting, eating, and sleeping needs
- Maintain safe, clean facilities and equipment
- Build positive relationships with parents and guardians
Requirements:
- Early Childhood Educator Assistant certificate
- Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain
- Successful completion of agency screening process
- Successful criminal record check
- Availability for 40 hours weekly, Monday to Friday
