Bethany Care Society seeks a Health Care Aide for Aspen/MVSH Aspen Ridge Lodge and Designated Assisted Living. You will provide resident-centered care within your scope of practice, document observations, and support independence. The work includes collaboration with Registered Nurses, Licensed Practical Nurses, families, volunteers, and interdisciplinary team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist residents with activities of daily living
- Maintain resident privacy, dignity, and independence
- Document holistic needs and report observations promptly
- Follow safety and emergency preparedness procedures
- Participate in interdisciplinary care evaluations
Requirements:
- Grade 10 education and approved Health Care Aide certificate
- Registration with the CLHA
- Effective English reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension
- Strong observation, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in demanding environments
