Responsibilities include individualized care planning, resident assessments, documentation, physician orders, and collaboration with families and interdisciplinary teams.
The position also directs PSW work and supports unit operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and modify individualized resident care plans
- Administer medications and treatments according to standards
- Assess health changes and communicate required updates
- Direct, assign, and evaluate PSW work
- Conduct unit rounds and supervise activities
Requirements
- Current Ontario RPN certificate of competence
- RAI-MDS knowledge and AIS certification
- Long-term care experience considered an asset
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Clear vulnerable sector screen, TB test, and references
