Ben Machine Products is a Canadian leader in defence and aerospace manufacturing.
Founded in 1973, we have a strong, vibrant workforce of over 200 people across two facilities.
Our services include sophisticated 3, 4 and 5-axis CNC milling, CNC turning with live tooling, 6, 8 and 9-axis Swiss turning, precision sheet metal fabrication, mechanical sub-assembly, clean room capabilities and various finishing services.

Positions and
Shifts: Day Shift (Monday through Thursday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Friday 7:00 am to 3:30 pm).
Responsibilities
The responsibilities for the rewarding position of CNC Lathe Hand at Ben Machine Products will include the following: Set-up and operate CNC turning centres with live tooling.
Use appropriate tools, fixtures and indicators to set up the machine.
Load, unload, change and modify programs as required.
Change and set cutting tools.
Modify and grind tools as required.
Adjust feeds and speeds for maximum efficiency.
Operate the machine with all safety precautions in place.
Deburr and prepare parts for loading and after unloading.
Measure and inspect parts to ensure dimensions are within tolerance.
Read and interpret blue prints.
Understand geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
All other duties as assigned.
Experience
We are looking for candidates with the following minimum experience: 5 years' experience required.
Certificate, college degree or other training in CNC turning an asset.
Fanuc or Haas experience a must.
Familiarity with Mastercam preferred.
Previous aerospace experience preferred.
Previous jobbing shop experience preferred.
