As a Production Expeditor, you will assist Purchasing, Production, and Receiving with supplier research, purchase order follow-up, and delivery coordination. The work supports manufacturing schedules through careful document checking, data entry, and communication. Ben Machine Products serves Canadian and American defense customers through CNC machining, sheet metal fabrication, mechanical sub-assembly, and finishing services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research supplier pricing, availability, and lead times as directed
- Follow up on purchase order confirmations and shipment status
- Track delivery dates and flag urgent delays or shortages
- Check deliveries against purchase orders and packing slips
- Maintain accurate supplier, receiving, and delivery records
Requirements:
- Organized approach with strong follow-up and deadline skills
- Attention to detail when checking quantities and documents
- Clear verbal and written communication skills
- Basic Excel, Outlook, and accurate data entry skills
- One to two years of related administrative or manufacturing experience
