Support Bellwoods Finance with invoice processing and vendor payments as an Accounting Coordinator working remotely and from Toronto.
Reporting to the Director, Finance, you will coordinate accounts payable and assist with accounts receivable transactions and analyses. This full-time, one-year temporary assignment includes vendor communication, payment preparation, reconciliations, accruals, audit schedules, and management information. Bellwoods seeks post-secondary accounting training, three years of related experience, and strong written and verbal communication. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics GP, SAP Concur, Smartsheet, GAAP, and ASNPO supports the work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Send invoices for approval and follow up with approvers
- Calculate HST rebates and enter payable invoices
- Prepare EFT withdrawals, registers, and payment documentation
- Communicate with vendors regarding questions and payments
- Assist with annual audits and fiscal year-end preparation
Requirements:
- Legally entitled to work in Canada
- Three years of finance and accounting experience
- Post-secondary accounting training is essential
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Office, and financial software
