This approximately 21-month Staff Regulatory Affairs Specialist assignment supports BD operations across medical devices and natural health products. You will manage regulatory activities, guide project teams, and interpret requirements for business leaders and associates. The work includes regulatory strategy, submission management, quality systems, and post-market assessments. You will also share expertise, mentor colleagues, and help train team members across functions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead regulatory compliance activities and establishment license maintenance
- Prepare classifications and submissions for Health Canada approvals
- Manage product activation, post-market changes, and Ad Promo reviews
- Coordinate recalls, audits, inspections, and regulatory CAPAs
- Maintain quality system procedures and deliver cross-functional training
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in life sciences or engineering
- Seven-plus years of medical device regulatory experience
- Class III and Class IV device experience
- Expert knowledge of Canadian medical device regulations
- Medical device and establishment license application experience
