Lead Canadian Tax services from BDO’s Oakville office, applying specialized tax knowledge and project leadership within a blended work model. As Senior Manager, you will guide Domestic Tax assignments and client strategies. Your work will cover tax legislation, corporate, personal, trust and estate planning, compliance, and team development. You will help advance BDO’s Canadian Tax practice while supporting client service and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate client processes, policies, and tax opportunities
- Anticipate and address tax issues affecting client businesses
- Lead Domestic Tax projects and maintain quality control
- Prepare and review reorganizations and tax returns
- Train staff and develop team members professionally
Requirements:
- Completed CPA designation and In-Depth Tax Program or Masters in Tax
- Seven years’ public accounting experience
- At least three years specializing in Tax
- Extensive corporate, personal, and trust tax knowledge
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
