Position Summary

This exciting hands‑on individual contributor role is responsible for lead generation operations and the demand generation technology within our Marketing department. Our demand generation technology includes: HubSpot, Salesforce CRM & HubSpot integration and the conversion-facing elements of our marketing websites such as forms and landing pages. Whilst the general website content, design and SEO/AEO aspects sit within the Product space; the successful applicant will frequently partner with the product team on integration and conversion points.

The ideal candidate will be a pragmatic, operations-minded professional with significant prior experience managing systems as well as end‑to‑end lead gen campaigns. In addition, they will possess a strong ability to collaborate with our developer teams to manage our technology stack and CRM resources to scope and ship changes whilst single-handedly taking full ownership of our HubSpot platform.

Key Responsibilities

Demand Gen Technology Management 30%

  • Manage HubSpot and the conversion-facing elements of the marketing website (forms, landing pages, tracking and tagging).
  • Partner with Product and a developer resource to scope, prioritize, and implement website and integration changes, briefing technical requirements clearly rather than owning development or website content personally.
  • Serve as primary point of contact between Marketing and IT/Digital on demand gen technical issues, maintaining a backlog of fixes and enhancements.
  • Ensure forms, landing pages, and HubSpot are properly integrated with CRM and downstream sales systems; troubleshoot breakages with CRM team.

HubSpot Administration 30%

  • Serve as dedicated HubSpot administrator (not just a user), managing configuration, data model, workflows, and ongoing platform health.
  • Manage lifecycle stages, lead scoring, segmentation, automation, and attribution reporting.
  • Maintain data integrity and governance within HubSpot and its integration with the CRM (Salesforce).
  • Own the HubSpot roadmap: evaluate new features, manage permissions and portal settings, and ensure the platform scales with the business especially with emerging AI tools.

Demand & Lead Generation Operations 30%

  • Plan and execute integrated, multi-channel demand and lead generation programs, including email, nurture, outbound, paid media, content promotion, webinars, and events with vendor and cross-functional support resources.
  • Develop lead qualification frameworks with Sales, and manage Lead-to-MQL, MQL-to-SQL, and SQL-to-Opportunity conversion performance.
  • Identify funnel bottlenecks and implement corrective actions through process, automation, or campaign changes; manage nurture and retargeting strategies.

Performance Analytics & Reporting 10%

  • Partner with our developer teams to build and maintain dashboards.
  • Generate reports on pipeline contribution, campaign ROI, conversion performance and measure the marketing team's efforts against revenue generated.
  • Analyze campaign and funnel performance, translating findings into clear recommendations and giving leadership visibility into pipeline trends and risks.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as key executional liaison for Marketing, Sales, Client Success, Strategy, Research, Creative, Product, and IT on funnel and systems matters.
  • Coordinate vendor projects and campaign-related budgets as needed.

Qualifications & Experience

Must Have

  • Current HubSpot certification required.
  • Minimum 3+ years hands‑on experience as a HubSpot administrator (not just an end user), managing configuration, workflows, data integrity/enrichment, and integrations.
  • At least 5+ years in demand generation, lead generation, marketing operations, or a related field.
  • Strong experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce) and pipeline reporting.

Preferred

  • Experience briefing a developer or technical resource on website/technical work, plus familiarity with basic web technologies (CMS, GA4, tracking/tagging, integrations).
  • Familiarity with financial services, capital markets, research, or subscription-based business models.
  • Hands-on involvement integrating AI tools into demand generation processes (e.g. Clay for lead enrichment, automation, etc.)
  • Practical understanding of ABM, paid media/performance channels and building a marketing operations function in a high-growth or PE-backed environment.

Skills & Competencies

  • Ownership mindset: takes accountability for systems and processes lacking a clear owner and drives them forward.
  • Operational rigour and technical fluency: leads with process and data integrity, and briefs developers clearly (without necessarily coding themselves).
  • Analytical thinking: uses data and metrics to support decision‑making.
  • Collaboration and attention to detail: builds cross‑functional relationships and maintains high data and process standards.
