Lead Victoria Regional Transit System maintenance as a Daily Shift Manager in Victoria, BC, supervising fleet repairs, operations, and safety. BC Transit seeks a creative leader for a nine-month full-time temporary assignment. Reporting to the Manager, Maintenance Operations, you will coordinate planned and reactive maintenance, support day-to-day decisions, and help keep enough buses ready for service. This on-site position requires five days weekly and varied shifts. Key Responsibilities:

Certified Tradesman or Maintenance Technician education Experience leading teams in technical mechanical environments Understanding of heavy-duty or commercial transportation practices Advanced knowledge of CVSE and NSC regulations Experience supervising or managing unionized workforces Apply maintenance leadership, mechanical knowledge, and conflict resolution skills to support safe, reliable BC Transit fleet operations.
