Our new office in Jonquière is expanding, and we’relooking for a talented engineer to join our dynamic team. You’ll be involved inengineering and programming mandates in automation, instrumentation andcontrol. Your role will be to contribute to various phases ofengineering and site work. You may also be called upon to help producedeliverables for digital solution mandates.
An overview of your mandates andresponsibilities
Help produce various deliverables for an automation engineering project cycle
Prepare plans and specifications as well as detailed engineering deliverables (piping and instrumentation diagrams, layout drawings, I/O loop and motor control diagrams, lists of cables and instruments, installation details)
Draft reports, plans and specifications, construction and purchasing estimates and calls for tenders, where required
Prepare technical data sheets and select instruments (flow, pressure, levels) and control valves
Provide technical assistance during construction work (electrical and instrumentation)
Program programmable logic controllers (PLCs) for distributed control systems (DCSs) and human-machine interfaces (HMIs)
Participate in equipment commissioning and performance testing at client sites

Overview of job requirements
Bachelor’s degree in automated production engineering or electrical engineering
Interest or relevant experience (five years or less) in automation or instrumentation, including participation in the detailed engineering of a project in the mining or energy sectors
Available for short-term assignments at c lient offices or sites
Advanced level of English to collaborate effectively with BBA offices and/or clients inEnglish-speaking Canadian provinces and internationally. The frequency ofEnglish use may range from occasional to daily, depending on ongoingprojects
Advanced level of French to collaborate effectively with BBA offices and/or clients inQuébec
