Industrial Electrical Engineer in Mont-Saint-Hilaire

Your future role on our team involves contributing to various stages of project execution, including proposals, analysis studies for industrial power systems, detailed engineering, equipment specifications, site surveys, site monitoring, and commissioning of substation equipment. Among other tasks, you will be expected to apply established calculation and design methods when preparing plans, lists of materials, lists of cables, technical specifications, and estimates. You will also carry out various project steps at electrical substations and ensure the quality of professional services while maintaining positive client relationships.

Overview Of Certifications And Job Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• Member in good standing of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
• At least 5 years of experience in engineering as well as reading and preparing diagrams and wiring plans
• Available for short-term assignments (mandatory) and long-term assignments (asset) to client sites across Canada
• Knowledge of MS Office and other database applications
• Basic knowledge of HV/MV/LV apparatus and safety in electrical installations
• Advanced level of English to collaborate effectively with BBA offices and/or clients outside Québec
• Ability to draft technical documents in both English and French

Asset:

• Knowledge of power systems (HV, MV, LV)
• Knowledge of ETAP, EasyPower, CYME, and EMTP-RV software
• Graduate degree (master's or doctorate)
